Independent School of Queensland (ISQ)/Heulab – Singapore Study Tour

Starting from 5th July to 11th July 2008, 23 principals and educators from independent schools in Queensland, Australia went to learn and study firsthand how Singapore is integrating the use of technology in its school curriculum as Queensland moves towards a digital education revolution. |

Hosted by Independent School Queensland and HeuLab, the week allowed schools to study how Queensland schools can benefit from ICT programs that have been implemented in Singapore.
Visits to Future Schools, Classroom of the Future and an interactive learning trail were some of the activities that the delegates participated in, as well as listening to talks given by the iDA, MOE and various experts in the education field. 

At the end of each day the group also enjoyed seeing the sights of Singapore and had a great time visiting Sentosa and watching the musical show, at an evening hosted by HeuLab.

At the end of the study tour all the schools felt that it was an enormous successful and took back to Queensland a lot of good ideas and strategies for their schools.
