...HeuLab-Independent Schools of Queensland’s Singapore Study Tour 2009 |

From June, 27th- July, 3rd 2009, 17 Principals, Head of Teaching and Learning and Head of ICT from schools under Independent School of Queensland (ISQ) visited Singapore as part of the HeuLab- ISQ Singapore Study Tour 2009.
Jointly organized by HeuLab and ISQ, the annual event gave participants invaluable opportunity to learn and gain firsthand experience on how the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and curriculum had benefited Singapore schools.
Consistent with Australia’s shift toward digital education revolution and in view of Singapore as best practices in digital technology in education, knowledge reaped during the week has been rewarding for the participants.

The program highlights include talks by Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE), infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (iDA) and presentation by schools such as Radin Mas Primary and Geylang Methodist School Primary.
The Study Tour also included on-site visits to Crescent Girls School as well as technology partners such as SingTel Business Productivity Centre and Hewlett Packard Cooltown Innovation Centre.

The Singapore Study Tour ended with a high note where participants enjoyed a great time in Singapore’s Science Centre and Singapore’s Night Safari-hosted by HeuLab.
